Abstract
Based on field survey,GPS location and soil analysis, soil salinization levels and distribution were investigated, and the characteristics of soil salinization in the lower reaches of Kaidu River Basin in Xinjiang were analyzed.Using SPSS and Excel software, the content of salt ions, relation between salt content and conductivity, and correlation of the salt ions were analyzed. The results showed that Lands in the area are mostly of alkali soil with pH value higher than 8.0,and high in salt content, and salts content rate mostly in the 0~10cm surface layer,it accounts for 2.83%.Dominated cations in the soil are Na+,K+,Mg2+,whereas dominated anion in the soil are SO2-4and CL-in the 0~10 cm soil layers. The correlation between Na+ and CL-content is positive and extremely significant, that between K+ and HCO-3 content is significantly positive. The correlation between salt content and conductivity and TDS are positive significant correlation.
