Abstract
The moral concepts in modern Confucianism has a far-reaching influence on Chinese society.Through a study of the meanings of morality in modern confucianism,we can find the intrinsic basis of man’s being man.Extrinsic systems,proprieties and customs in society specifies the meaning of morality.The relationship between man and morality is the basis of man in system.Therefore,moral education is different from ideoligical and political education in modern Confucianism,but their essential purpose is unified.
