Abstract

Objective Severe cervical myelopathy be treated by the method of jointing anterior and posterior cervical vertebra and anterior corpectomy decompression and internal fixation of the clinical effects of surgical treatment. Methods From April 2007 to 2010 in November hospitalized patients with severe cervical myelopathy,82 patients were divided into treatment group and control group,40 patients in treatment group with cervical spine taken before and after the road a combination therapy, the other 42 patients in control group using an anterior corpectomy decompression and internal fixation of surgical treatment, were followed up for 12-14 months.Result Japan JOA17 points system assessment, the comprehensive improvement of the treatment group was 93%,the comprehensive improvement of the control group was 81%.Conclusion Anterior cervical spine surgery for a combined spinal canal to improve the content area, making the compression of the spinal cord have been alleviated as soon as possible,a shorter course of treatment, clinical treatment effect is good, worthy of promotion.
