Abstract

Studies on oxygen-enriched air roasting process were conducted by using some vanadium-bearing stone coal in Shaanxi Province as raw material. The effects of roasting temperature, roasting time, grinding size and roasting atmosphere on the conversion rate of vanadium oxidation in calcines were investigated. The optimum roasting conditions were obtained from experiments as follows: the roasting temperature was 850 ℃,roasting time was 30 min,the grinding size was-74 μm and the oxygen concentration was 80%.Under these conditions, the calcine can be obtained with the conversion rate of vanadium oxidation above 78%.
