Abstract
Objective:To investigate the cerebrospinal fluid adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity was measured in the diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis in children in the application.Methods:35 cases of tubercular meningitis, viral meningitis,36 cases,32 cases of purulent meningitis and 40 cases of non-meningitis were determined and compared ADA activity in cerebrospinal fluid of patients in each group and the positive rate. Results:TB and positive cerebrospinal fluid ADA activity was significantly higher than that of non-tuberculosis group, the difference was significant (P0.0);tuberculous meningitis cerebrospinal fluid ADA activity before and after treatment, the difference was significant (P0.05).Conclusion:Cerebrospinal fluid adenosine deaminase in diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis as an important reference index.
