Abstract

The growth and development of hybrid F_1 from Dorset and semi-fine wool sheep(T×H)was observed .The results showed:①The birth weight of lamb of T×H F_1 wasnt significantly differed with that of contemporary Qinghai semi-fine wool sheep.The liveweight and daily gain of lamb of T×H F_1 at the age of three and six months were significantly more than those of Qinghai semi-fine wool sheep(P0.01).②The performance of meat production of sheep of T×H F_1 was significantly higher than that of Qinghai semi-fine wool sheep(P0.01).
