Abstract
The paper describes the process features of the modification No. 5 billet caster at No. 2 Steelmaking Plant of Shoudu Steel. The caster has had a capacity to produce high - valued products with the modifications of tundish,mould,secondary cooling water distribution,mould oscillator,etc.
