Application of continuous temperature measuring technique for molten steel in tundish at SGIS

Abstract

This paper introduces continuous temperature measuring technique for molten steel in tundish on No.2 slab caster at No.3 Steelmaking Plant of SGIS.Continuous temperature measurement in tundish can guarantee the temperature measurement to control casting speed in continuous casting process.This technique is a good way to replace current discontinuous temperature measurement of molten steel.
