Abstract
The introduction of cationic organic ammonium as the inhibitor in a drilling fluid is generally considered the critical step in the formulation of a high performance drilling fluids(HPWBM).To optimize inhibitor, two non-ionic amines,Amine-1 and Amine-2,were evaluated. These two amines can slightly reduce the interfacial tension of a fluid, and inhibit the swelling and dispersion of clay minerals, also can decrease filter loss and viscosity of a dispersed drilling fluid.Amine-1 and Amine-2 can be used in water base drilling fluids as inhibitors.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
