Analysis on Strength Pattern and Tactics of Modern International Football from the Perspective of FIFA World Cup

Through using method of literature review,expert interview,and mathematical statistics,this paper makes quantitative analysis on defensive and offensive ability of each team in 19th FIFA World Cup,discusses new pattern of world football according to achievement of FIFA world cup in recent decades,and elaborates main characteristics of football tactics.The results indicate that:1) Argentine and Brazil,which come from South America,are best team in attack and defense in 19th World Cup,the next best are European countries such as Germany,Spain,Portugal and Italy.2) To win game,the team must be skilled in defense as well as attack.3) Based on RSR distribution,there are four ranks in 19th World Cup teams.4) Europe and South America hegemony pattern would be formed in world football.5) Football tactics may be classified into following categories:the directly play,the control play,the defensive play and the attack play etc.
