Abstract
Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in Sichuan Basin has been an important E P stratum for reserves and output increment recently. And western Sichuan area is the important domain for E P of Xujiahe Formation. In this study, the differences existing in the sedimentary facies, stratigraphy, reservoir physical property and reservoir-forming condition of Xujiahe Formation in central and western Sichuan Basin are analyzed based on some previous research. At last, some countermeasures on effective exploration are proposed.
