Right Heart Catheterization Analysis of 18 Patients with Atrial Septal Defect Associated Severe Pulmonary Hypertension

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the surgical indicatio by right heart catheterization(RHC)in patients with ASD associated severe pulmonary hypertension.Methods 18 patients with ASD associated severe pulmonary hypertension were studied by right heart catheterization(RHC)and Doppler echocardiogrphy,respectively,and their results were compared.Results After operation the effect of all cases were good.Conclusion RHC is a reliable and accurate technique for evaluate the surgical indicatio in patients with ASD associated severe pulmonary hypertension.
