Abstract

Regional analysis is an important way to determine the urban function and guide the spatial layout in master urban planning.With the master urban plan revising of Nanjing city,the paper introduces how to strengthen regional analysis in studying urban function and spatial layout and how to strengthen the coordination of the central city with the surrounding area adjacent.
