Abstract

Virtual LAN(VLAN)technology is often used as a LAN technology;VLAN technology is the node without changing the LAN based on the physical location,according to functions,departments,applications are divided into a number of factors such as the logic of the WorkGroup;VLAN technology to effectively avoid the local network broad-cast storms and enhance the security of the LAN.This article describes the VLAN concepts,principles,advantages,and their classification,and implemented in a university LAN VLAN configuration and authentication methods.
