Abstract

Land consolidation is the important measure of realizing the farmland total dynamic balance, improving the farmland quality and the eco-environment. At present, the study of farmland consolidation potential is the basis of land management planning at the county level. This paper took Huairou District Beijing as an example to divide the farmland type area by the slope based on land change survey in 2010 at first and then to take administrative village as a unit, measuring quantity potential through standard plots design and dividing the farmland supplementary potential area. At the same time, based on the classification of farmland, using goal grade method to calculate original farmland improving productivity and added farmland productivity, measuring the quality potential after farmland consolidation. Through calculating quantitative and qualitative potential of farmland consolidation, it is concluded that farmland consolidation can add farmland area 48.51 ha, promote 1.18 grades of farmland quality and produce quality potential 1.76×104 t. This research can provide technical support for land management planning in Huairou District.
