Abstract
Energy storage with phase change storage materials is one of the most efficient means of storing available energy because of its advantages such as providing higher heat storage capacity,lower storage temperature,isothermal operation and less storage space.However,different categories of phase change energy storage materials have different characteristics,and there are certain limitations in their applications.For the purpose of improvement of their properties,enhancement of their energy storage efficiency and enlargement of their application range,enhancement techniques need to be employed.Several enhancement techniques as well as their applications in the investigations of phase change energy storage materials are introduced.
