Abstract
In order to study the fluidized effect of the pulsed fluidized bed,a comparison experiment was conducted on the fluidized characteristics of the pulsed fluidized bed and the conventional fluidized bed under the conditions of the different pulsed air parameters and the analysis was conducted on the fluidized curves,the bed layer pressure drop of the fluidized bed and the density fluctuations at the center of the fluidized bed individually.The results showed that when the pulsed fluidized bed was in critical fluidization status,the pressure drop variation of the fluidized bed was stable and the fluidized curve could not appear a raised peak.The middle bed layer pressure drop fluctuations of the pulsed fluidized bed was obviously lower than the conventional fluidized bed and the stability of the bed density would be high.At the same fluidized number,the pulsed fluidized bed would have much lower bed density.
