Exploration on the Research of Sustainable Land Use and Land Cover Change

Abstract

The research on land use and land cover change (LUCC) has become a key issue of global environment change and sustainable development. Sustainable land use is a basic content of sustainable development in the society, and the influence of LUCC on sustainable development is embodied by affecting sustainable land use. From the prospective of sustainable land use, and based on the conception of the research of Sustainable LUCC(SLUCC), the significance, problems and solutions of the research of SLUCC are discussed in this paper.
