Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)on patients'life quality. Methods:The quality of life in patients with OSAHS was assessed with the Medical Outcomes study SF-36 Health Survey in 93 patients.Excessive Daytime sleepiness(EDS)was assessed with Epworth sleepiness scale(ESS).Influences of age, gender, body mass index(BMI),EDS,and polysommography(PSG)parameters were analyzed for each domain score of SF-36 Health Survey. Results:There was no significant difference in all domains of SF-36 in different genders;while four domains of SF-36 had correlated with age;five with EDS;seven with BMI and lowest Oxygen saturation(LSaO2);six with apnea hypopnea index(AHI).Conclusions:Age,BMI,EDS score,LSaO2,and AHI have negative influences on the quality of life in OSAHS patients.
