Abstract
Based on 2D and 3D model, the stability of the same slope is surveyed.Calculation results show that: the smaller the distribution of slope top load is,the bigger the safety coefficient of slope is,which is different from the 2D calculation results. Therefore,in general, the calculation result of 3D is bigger than 2D.In addition, applying 2D model to survey slope stability may underestimate the safety coefficient of the slope.
