Abstract
The effect of various POE content on the mechanical properties of(0.3%)β-form crystalline nucleated agent treated PP/POE blend were investigated for fixed filler loading of 0~25%,and the β-form crystalline of the blend were analyzed by DSC.The result reveals that nucleated agent treated PP/POE sample exhibits a greater notched Izod impact strength. With the increase of POE content,brittle-ductile transition(BDT) of the untreated PP/POE occurs in the impact tensile test. While the treated PP/POE blend does not exhibit such transition. The transition of β→α form of treated PP/POE blend in tensile strength test were also discussed.
