Abstract
Hexanedioic acid was synthesized by oxidation of cyclohexanone. In this reaction 30% hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant and NaWO4·2H2O as catalyst. Through an effort to optimize the reaction conditions, such as reaction temperature, reaction time and the amount of 30% hydrogen peroxide, the best result was obtained when the raction was performed at 100℃,the ratio of cyclohexanone,30% hydrogen peroxide and NaWO4·2H2O was 100∶400∶1.6 and the reaction time was 4h. Thus, hexanedioic acid was obtained in 61.6% yield.
