Abstract
Unlike traditional Fourier transform, the wavelet transform has good localization property.Singular signals often carry a lot of important information. The problem on signal singularity detection is presented. The relation between wavelet transformation and signal singularity is given, and all kinds of singularity discontinuous point are detected by wavelet analysis effectively. An illustration validates this method. The wavelet transform technique is adapted to processing the brim signal and the sudden signal and supplies the theory gist for the bottom sediments classification.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
