Abstract
The starting characteristic,operating characteristic,speed adjustable characteristic and the step characteristic of traveling-wave ultrasonic motor were researched.The regularity that the micro-step′s accuracy for controlling traveling-wave ultrasonic motor influenced by different loads was concluded and one method for micro-step controlling was improved.And the deviation of the stepping angle can be modified by the empirical calculated through the simulation by the least square procedure founded on all characteristic experiments about traveling-wave ultrasonic motor.The results can improve the precision of position control and promote the traveling-wave ultrasonic motor in open loop.
