Clinical study on PPH in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids in 20 cases

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids(PPH)in the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids.Methods A retrospective study was made on 20 cases withⅢorⅣstage mixed hemorrhoids of those who received PPH.Results The treatment group had shorter operation time(15min) compared with control(65min),shorter hospital stay and less postoperative complications compared with the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids is safe and effective in treating severe hem- orrhoid with short hospital stay and rapid recovery.
