Abstract
The pathogenic bacteria were isolated from the diseased large yellow croaker (Pseudosciaena crocea) and then identified. Healthy large yellow croaker were infected by injection and immersion with 5 strains of the isolated bacteria. Among the 5 strains, 4 strains induced 100% mortality. According to the morphological feature and biochemical characteristics of the isolates, strain Y62001 and Y80721 belong to Vibrio harveyi,strain Y70301,Y70701 and Y80704 belong to V.parahaemolyticus.
