Investigation on the demand of graduation papers guidance among nursing students on adult education program at university level

Objective To investigate the demand of graduation papers guidance among nursing students on adult education program at university level,in order to regulate guidance methods to improve the students' scientific research ability.Methods Totally 160 university level adult education students on nursing science were recruited by a convenience sampling method.A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the students' demands of graduation papers guidance.Results Eighty-eight students thought that centralized guidance combined with individual guidance was the most effective guidance method.The students had a good evaluation on the contents and arrangement of centralized guidance,but they suggested that the teachers regulate the arrangement of part contents.The teachers' scientific research ability,patience and expression ability had great influence on the effects of papers guidance.Conclusions It is necessary to change the simplex guidance method for nursing students on adult education program at university level and improve the teachers' scientific research ability and humanistic literacy.
