Abstract
A phase transfer catalyst(PTC) was prepared with improved method and characterized by IR spectrum and elementary analysis.Cyclohexene oxide was synthesized by epoxidation of raw cyclohexene(w(C_6H_(10))=76.7%) and industrial hydrogen peroxide(w(H_2O_2)=34.5%) as an oxidant with the PTC.The proper synthesis conditions were reaction temperature 40 ℃,reaction time 90 min,n(C_6H_(10))∶n(H_2O_2)=2.5∶1(based on 0.08 mol H_2O_2),catalyst 0.6 g and solvent 1,2-dichloroethane 70 mL.The average selectivity and yield of cyclohexene oxide were 96.1% and 91.7%,respectively.With the reused catalyst, the average selectivity and yield of cyclohexene oxide could attain 95.3% and 90.9%,respectively.
