Abstract
Objective:To investigate the pain relief effects and its influences on the labor course and both mothers and newborns.Methods:78 pregnant women were administered combined subarachnoid and epidural analgesia during labor(study group),78 pregnant women were not administered any labor analgesia(control group). The labor course, the mode of delivery and incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress and score both Apgar's and NBNA's were observed in the two groups respectively. Results:The difference was effectively significant in the rate of cesarean section(P0.05) between the study group and the control group while there was no significant difference in the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage、fetal distress and score both of Apgar's and NBNA's(P0.05).Conclusion:The analgesic delivery of CSEA is safe and effective, which has no influences on the mothers and newborns, and the labor course decreases the rate of cesarean section.
