Abstract
Objective To express the apoptosis related protein Apr 2 and prepare polyclonal antibody against the protein.Methods Clone Apr 2 cDNA into expression vector pGEX 4T 2 and transform to E.coli for expressing recombinant protein GST Apr 2 under the induction of IPTG.Identify the expressed fusion protein by ELISA and Western blot,and prepare polyclonal antibody by immunizing rabbits with the protein.Results The expressed fusion protein existed mainly in a form of inclusion body and contained more than 40% of total somatic protein.The titer of the prepared polyclonal antibody was 1∶5 000 .Conclusion Apr 2 was successfully expressed,and the polyclonal antibody to the protein was obtained.
