Abstract

The flow fields in the stirred tank under different velocity of rotating is numerically simulated by using computational fluid dynamics(CFD) package FLUENT 6.2 with multi-reference frame(MRF)and standardturbulent model is used in the simulation. The power numbers of different velocity and methods of calculation are observed and compared. The distributions of velocity vectors and turbulence kinetic energy are given.According to the article the author wants to give important guidance to the researchers in this region.
