Abstract
Based on the research of the changing rule of flash point,reliable modification methods of increasing the flash point of flammable liquid are studied.Results indicate that adding flammable liquid that has a bigger attraction between its molecule and the flammable liquid molecule than that between the pure molecules,water of nonflammable solvent can increase the flash point of flammable ilquid.It increases rapidly only when mole percentage of the additive is higher than 0.8.The research will offer operative technology for the inherent safety processing,storage and transportation of flammable liquids.
