Abstract
Using 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol(PAN)as chelating agent,Triton X-114 as nonionic surfactant, and HNO3-methnol as regulator of viscosity, the determination conditions of zinc by cloud point extraction-flame atomic absorption spectrometry(CPE-FAAS) method were optimized.Under the optimal conditions, the detection limit of zinc was 0.687 μg/L.The enrichment factor was 66-fold for zinc. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of trace quantities of zinc in water samples, with the satisfactory recoveries ranging from 95 % to 102%.
