Abstract

The 3D virtual assembly and motion simulation of a gantry crane are realized using SolidWorks and VRML.Two methods of virtual dynamic simulation are combined, leading to not only satisfactory simulation result and also less workload.Furthermore,across-platform and multi-site communication of design information is achieved.
