Abstract
UML is a powerful visual modeling language who are able to model complex software systems, RUP is an advanced software development process which specify the different stages of the development of a software project. Both of them were widely used in the IT area. This paper gives an example of the object-oriented analysis and design of a dormitory management system based the UML and RUP.
