Abstract
Detailed analyses on the distribution and probable limitation of nutrients, eutrophication and organic pollution in the bottom water in Jiaozhou Bay are presented in this paper based on the investigation. The results show that the distribution of the nutrient concentration, the value of eutrophication, the index of organic pollution are similar in the bottom water, decreasing from northeast to southwest. And,the degree of eutrophication gets to 45.45%. At the same time the growth of phytoplankton is mainly limited because of dissolved inorganic phosphorus in the Jiaozhou Bay.
