Abstract
Freshwater crab,Sinopotamon henanense, were acutly exposed to the waterborne Cd2+ and the Cd2+ levels were examined. The crabs were divided into three treated groups and one control. The samples were exposed to the Cd2+ solution for 1 day,3 days and 5 days, then were dissected lively.Cadmium accumulation in gills, hepatopancreas, muscle and ovary were examined with flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry method. The results showed that Cd2+ was selectively accumulated in different organs. The accumulation of each organ decreased in turn:gillhepatopancreamuscle ovary. The bioaccumulation of Cd2+ in S.henanense had the concentration-effect relationship,ie,the more the concentration increased, the more the bioaccumulation was.But the different time-effect relationships about the bioaccumulation of the S.henanense were found because of the different organs.
