Research progress on waterlogging tolerance in soybean

Abstract
Waterlogging is one of the weighty natural disasters in soybean production,consequently studying waterlogging tolerance in soybean and exploring waterlogging mechanism had huge significance in breeding waterlogging tolerant soybean varieties.The present paper comprehensively summarized identification method,and index of waterlogging tolerance,waterlogging tolerance genetics in soybean in recent years,waterlogging tolerance research in different periods and its existing problems,etc.It proposed that stronger waterlogging tolerant soybean varieties with elite traits shall be screened according to actual production demands.
