Abstract

This paper briefly introduces the developing trend of wave equation prestack depth migration technolo- gy, discuses P-gather wave equation velocity analysis technology, and presents the formula of common-azimuth wave equation prestack depth migration methed. On super computer Shenwei 1, we realized common-azimuth wave equation prestack depth migration on 130km~2 3-D seismic data. The migrated results verified the correctness of the method, and showed the usefulness of the method in imaging complex structures.
