Abstract

The article elaborates the formation of English rural pasture scenery,which embodies the unity of beauty and utility.It also illustrates that the picturesque English Landscape Garden was also integrated with economy functions,which was developed in Continental Europe.The Landscape Garden,originated from pasture scenery,became a tool for improving the rural areas and indicated an embryo of landscape planning.
