An Analysis on Intercultural Nonverbal Communication

Nonverbal communication,an important component of intercultural communication,complements mutually with verbal communication.There is no substitute for nonverbal communication.However,nonverbal communication is not attached much importance,and is ignored all along.Misunderstanding on nonverbal communication happens so often that the communication always can't go along well,due to the resulting unhappiness or conflict.The matter has become the most sensitive and practical problem in intercultural communication.This paper is to analyze the connotation of nonverbal communication and the differences of nonverbal behaviors between different cultures.The key point is to analyze the methods of training intercultural nonverbal communication ability.
