Review of emerging technologies management

Since the later stage of 1990s,emerging technology management is becoming a new research field of international academe and the research on it is vigorously outspreading in our country.This paper gives a summarization of this research field.First of all,the thesis proceeds with theory origin and it takes for that emerging technology management has close academic theory origins with technical management,and technological innovation management,but is different from their emerging subject domain;then,by discussing the concept of emerging technology and its character such as uncertainty and creative destruction,this paper introduces and outspread the concept and characteristic of emerging technology management;Thirdly,the research field,content,view and fruit about emerging technology management are introduced in this paper from some aspects,such as emerging technology evolution and evaluation,emerging market identification and deportation,emerging technology strategic research,the organizational innovation of emerging technology management,financing management of emerging technology,knowledge management of emerging technology.Finally,some prospects for emerging technology management's research field are shown from four aspects: convergence innovation of emerging technology,uncertainty in emerging technology management,emerging technology's edge competition and researching approach for emerging technology management.
