Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience of CT guided sclerotherapy for renal cysts. Methods Data of 80 cases of renal cyst in our hospital since 2003 were analyzed and reviewed combined with the literature. Results After sclerotherapy, renal cyst was closed at 82.3 percent of patients, and cyst cavity was reduced at varying degrees in 17.7% of patients. The efficiency rate was 100%.Conclusions CT-guided percutaneous sclerotherapy of renal cysts is simple, minimally invasive, short duration of treatment and reliable, less complications and low cost.
