Biography of Loyal Women,compiled by Liu Xiang,is the first biography of Chinese women.It consists of seven major subjects of motherhood,wisdom,mercy,loyalty,persistence,versatility and demoralization.Together with most local chorographies,most official orthodox history books after Book of JIN contained the subject of Loyal Women.And inevitably,with the vicissitudes of the society,especial the variation of the status of Chinese women,the topic of female biography varied accordingly.As a tendency,the status of Chinese women became lower and lower,as well as the bondage on them closer and closer,And the topic of women biography became more and more awkward.Loyal Women of Cangzhou Chorography,compiled mainly by Zhuang Rirong,just embodies such apparent limit of that time.
