Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the Influenza A H1N1 influenza antibody levels in Xi'an.[Methods]Five neighborhood/schools were selected in the two districts by using the multi-stage random sampling and five age groups were invested as the target population.1508 serum samples were collected and detected by hem agglutination inhibition test.[Results]The virus antibody positive rate was 29.38% and the antibody geometric mean titer(GMT)was 25.29,the positive rates were higher in 6-15 and 16-24 age group. The antibody rate in men were higher than in women(χ2 = 6.90,P﹤0.05),and the positive rate of antibody after got vaccination was 62.90%,which was significantly higher than that of controls(22.78%,χ2 = 168.01,P﹤0.001).[Conclusion]The level of antibody was lower in Xi'an(less than 30%).The influenza A H1N1 vaccine could significantly increase the rate of protection, which indicates the H1N1 vaccine is effective for controlling Influenza A H1N1.
