A New-Institutional Economics Analysis on the Functions of Education

Abstract

We have a brand-new probe into the economical functions of education from the perspectives of institutional change, institutional demand and institutional supply, etc. by using the basic theories and methods in New Institutional Economics. So this paper gives some proposals about how to realize fully the function of education in the process of accelerating institutional transition and economic development.
