Preliminary Study on the Spatial Structure of Urban Function in Qingdao City

Study on the spatial strucure of urban function is the core of the urban geography and spatial structure perfection is the base of the urban programme. Since the Chinese open_door policy,the rapid expansion of urban constructed region in Qingdao city has given rise to the change of spatial relations between the various urban function regions,which makes it necessary to study the spatial structure of urban function in the city. Based on a lot of investigations, this paper begins with expounding the present features of spatial strucure of urban function in Qingdao city, then analyses the problems and their causes of it. Finally, the countermeasures of perfection of spatial structure of urban function in Qingdao city are put forward, taking into consideration the changing background home and abroad as well as the present spatial constructure of urban function in the city.
