Abstract

With the further development of seismic exploration the problem that the conventional composite seismic record is difficult to match with the actual seismic profile during seismic data interpretation becomes more serious. In order to resolve this problem frequency converting method is studied to composite seismic record and it improves the matching ability. This method more accurately distinguishes the seismic reflection horizon, analyzes the effect of lithologic change on the seismic data and clearly defines the geologic significance of seismic inflection wave shape change to get the best results of reservoir prediction. This method is convenient and quick to use. The model can be changed constantly according to your need. It is a good tool for interpretation workers to carry out stratigraphic interpretation of the seismic data. It is useful to research lithologic trap hydrocarbon reservoir.
