Ultrasonography of salivary glands in primary Sjogren's syndrome

Sjogren' s syndrome is an autoimmune disease. Its incidence rale is only lower than rheumatoid arthritis. Salivary glands and lacrimal glands are often affected. The cause of Sjogren's syndrome is not clear and the diagnosis standard is not united. This article gives a brief outline of the function of ultrasonography in Primary Sjogren's syndrome so as to apply a better clinical diagnosis method.
