Simulation Study on Propagation Law of Different-amount Deposited Coal Dust Explosion Induced by Gas Explosion

Abstract

Numerical simulation on different-amount deposited coal dust explosion induced by gas explosion was carried out by using the continuous phase and particle phase calculation methods and study was made on the behavior mechanism of coal dust explosion.Analysis was conducted on the generation condition and action mechanism of explosion flame of the deposited coal dust in different amounts according to the two-wave and three-zone structural theory of gas explosion propagation as well as the ignition process and dust particles flying induced by the impact airflow,and quantitatively discussion was carried out on the shock waves and flame propagation law in coal dust area under different modes.These analysis and studies can provide theoretical basis for recognizing the explosion mechanism of deposited coal dust explosion induced by gas explosion and effectively preventing gas and dust explosion.
